Why should I workout?

Motivation to help you look at yourself differently.

I believe this is the wrong question to ask. A better question might be, “How do I avoid wasting time working out?” The human body is a biological marvel designed to adapt to challenging circumstances, but it needs to be pushed hard to do so.

The key is to stop making excuses and start seeking results. Challenge yourself, not just physically, but in all aspects of your life. You are definitely capable of achieving what you want. Most of us are simply not used to being pushed. We didn’t grow up in an environment that encouraged pushing ourselves, and we often lacked the drive or desire to do so. Once you realize that there is no challenge you can’t overcome, the motivation to achieve your goals will appear.

Most of the time, we talk ourselves out of something good. We convince ourselves that we will fail. We become too comfortable being uncomfortable. We would rather complain than find a way forward. But what happens when you stop complaining? What if you stop saying, “It was too hard,” because you have the skills and the time to complete the task? What if you realize that your insecurity, fear, or ignorance was the only thing holding you back? Do you let your shortcomings win, or do you tell yourself, “It’s time to stop making excuses”?
